Story of the Day
|
|
During a Potluck dinner last night, we were talking to a
mutual friend about camping on Maui. The female friend
spoke very passionately. "I started coming over to
Maui and camping 17-years ago. No one ever bothered me. I
wish some did. I would always bring this big box of
condoms with me, camp for 2-months, and later fly off the
island with the box."

Treasure Filled Saturday
Saturday was full of treasures. I couldn't believe my
luck.
I hit yard sale gold. You know when the woman having
the yard sale is about your size, dressed very stylishly
and there are clothes hanging from racks with $1 price
tags, the yard sale has potential. I picked up two new Old
Navy skirts and two cute tops for $4, but the icing on the
cake was a brand new Guess pocketbook for $10. I am in luv.
As I placed my new pretty objects on the bed to admire,
John arrived with yet another present.

|
He tried to tell me he ate a box lunch, but I didn't
believe and proceeded to shirt dive.

More presents for me???
|
|
|
Our friend and fellow kiteboarder, Stan, sent us some Team
Wacko merchandise. I added the loot to the bed. What a
glorious sight. Presents for me. Oops! Presents for
us.

Very cool shirts! And I need some new hats. After several
months of dunking in he Pacific Ocean, followed by a
drying out period in the back of our sandy jeep, my
current hat has developed a slight aroma.
