I took this photo the fall of 2007 with the idea that it would make a fun t-shirt.

With the use of Cafe Press, I finally did it. The photo is now turn into a t-shirt

Scooting Round the Island

Here are some more photos from our fun filled Sunday whereupon we scooted along the west side of the island. During our journey, we made several stops. The first was to check out the view in Kapalua. Behind me, to the right, is where D. T. Flemming beach is.

Next, we drove down there to get a better look. Beautiful. There are signs warning of strong currents, but the beach is gorgeous. Surfers were on the far side of the beach catching the curl.

My favorite line of the day was by a fellow tourist. As we waited to get some banana bread in Kahakuloa Village, he looked at me and said, "We were laughing at how slow you  guys were going and then you passed us." Too funny. The roads on the West Coast are narrow and traffic jams can ensue. Our little mopeds just zipped around most of it.

A rare attraction is the blowhole. It is starting to spurt

Phyllis took a picture of some rocks left by tourists.

We are nearing the end of our journey. Heading back into Kapalua.

I love this photo by Phyllis. My eye is first drawn to the lighter shade of water with the rocks in their midst, followed by the exquisite blue in the background.

How quickly the day went. We are back in Lahaina.
