I learned something this evening. When one discusses the designated driver for the evening, don't quickly motion towards him when holding your full glass of wine. 

You see, he can't be mad though. It really isn't my fault. Surely he realized it was dangerous to sit next to me anyway.  I talk with my hands, red wine increases my desire to talk. It is a like a complex Quantum physics scenario. When certain forces unite it sets off a delicate chain reaction. If A meets B under X circumstances then red wine goes flying.
