| Visited by two million people a year, this cute
little town is located on the western coast of Maui. |
 |
| Lahaina's Sugar Cane Train
covers a six-mile stretch running between Lahaina and Kaanapali. |
 |
| What a view this town house. If you
look one way you see water. |
 |
| If you look anther you see hills. |
 |
| You can shop on one side of the street
or study the beauty of the water on the other side. |
 |
| The Banayan Tree Park was
first planted April 1873 to commemorate the 50th Anniversary of
Christian Missionary work in Lahaina.. It adds another special
feature to this amazing town. |
 |
| When it was brought over
from India it stood 8 feet tall. Today, it covers a 200-foot area. |
 |
| Right next to the park is
the Pioneer Inn. It is one of my favorite places on the island to
eat. We are early birds, so we manage to arrive in time for Happy
Hour. After a couple of $2.50 Mai Tai's and a delicious pasta
seafood dinner, I am one happy puppy. |
 |
| The icing on my cake is to
walk across the street and watch the sunset on the harbor. |
 |
| Beautiful! |
