Thanksgiving 2006 -- We put in our double kayak I believe at the Makena Landing. It is very close to the Maui Prince Resort. We paddled around and ended up facing Big Beach. Also out there, were a couple of professionally led groups. You can see one behind John. We talked to one of the leaders. He said to be careful and to always go early in the morning before the afternoon winds start. There is something called the Tahiti Express. If you get caught in it, it will take you right there. GULP!

The Maui Canoe Club is located in Kihei. It is a club that is designated to "Paddling Just For Fun".
